Russ Miller - Studio Legend : The Jingle-Wedge came out of the Groove-Wedge idea. Once I started using the Groove-Wedge, I noticed that it had many more benefits. I do a lot of sessions as well as touring with contemporary Pop and R&B artists. Many times, I am called to emulate "sampled" drum sounds".
"The Jingle-Wedge can be added to any drum for layering a drum sound with a tambourine-type nuance. This works great for stacking a tambourine onto the snare drum backbeats for Pop. R&B and especially Country music. The Jingle-Wedge also provides an additional instrument on the kit. It has a great "woody" "Palito" sound layered with jingles for Afro-Cuban music".
